Courtside Improvements for a Stronger Community.

Hume City Council has undertaken the redevelopment of theGreenvale Tennis Centre to deliver modern, high‑quality facilities that betterserve a rapidly growing local community. The existing courts, pavilion, andsupporting infrastructure required renewal to improve accessibility, safety,lighting, and overall user experience, while ensuring the venue can continue toaccommodate players of all ages and abilities.

 

The project includes partial demolition of the existingpavilion and the construction of a new formal entry, creating a more welcomingand functional arrival experience. New, contemporary change rooms and amenitieswill support increased participation, while a new kitchen and kiosk area willenhance the centre’s ability to host community events and provide match‑daycatering. The works also include the refurbishment of the social room,delivering an upgraded space for club gatherings and wider community use.

 

Importantly, the project is being delivered within a livecommunity sporting environment, with the existing tennis courts remainingoperational throughout construction. Careful planning and staging are integralto minimising disruption and ensuring continuity of access, allowing theGreenvale tennis community to continue to enjoy the facility while it istransformed into a future‑ready sporting destination.
