Hume Hockey & Lacrosse Pavilion.

Delivering Capacity, Capability, and Community Benefit.
The Hume Hockey and Lacrosse Centre Stage 2 project for Hume City Council will deliver a significant expansion of the existing regional sporting facility in Craigieburn, reinforcing its role as a premier hub for hockey, lacrosse, and community sport. Scheduled for completion in late 2026, the project responds to strong growth in local participation and increasing demand for high‑quality sporting infrastructure across the municipality.
The works include the construction of a second full‑sized synthetic hockey pitch featuring energy‑efficient LED sports lighting, player and official benches, safety chainmesh fencing, and dedicated storage infrastructure. These upgrades will increase the centre’s capacity to host competitive matches, training, and community activities, while enabling extended hours of use and improved match‑day functionality.
An extension of the existing pavilion will deliver new and upgraded facilities, including modern change rooms and amenities to support increased player numbers, umpire rooms, office accommodation, and both internal and external storage. A new kitchen and kiosk will provide catering and operational support for events and match days, while expanded social spaces will accommodate club gatherings and broader community use.
Together, the Stage 2 works will significantly enhance capacity, functionality, and user experience, establishing the Hume Hockey and Lacrosse Centre as a key regional destination for competitive sport, community participation, and long‑term growth.
